Spring sport registration runs January & February and games are played in April & May.

Check the availability on the Parks & Rec Calendar The Ward Sports Complex is a great place to host softball, baseball, kickball, gatherings & more. The field rental is $150 per field, per day. Rental form must be signed by host & all rules must be followed.

Busby Lake is located on Peyton Street along the train tracks. This lake offers fishing for Catfish, Bass, Crappie and more. Must follow Arkansas Game and Fish Commission fishing rules, along with the rules of Ward Parks & Recreation.

  • Please do not litter
  • No boats, no swimming
  • Catfish daily limit is 3, Largemouth Bass must be released
  • Fish with Rod or pole only
  • Fish at your own risk

Pavilion available for public use and can also be reserved for private gatherings. 

Free Wifi is available at the park and login information is available at the pavilion.

Yes! The City of Ward has a dog park located behind the municipal building at 405 Hickory Street. It offers obstacles for your dog to try, water spicket, large shade tree, benches, and waste receptacle.
